Junebug Cottages in Lake Placid Florida

Kelly's place is very nice, clean and the dock is great! The shower is amazing! We brought our boat and tied it to the dock but there are pontoon boats and jet skis for rent as well in case you don't have one to bring. We caught fish off the dock and the breeze and view were great. The town is laid back and the people are friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay!

As a Florida Native from Venice, FL our family enjoys visiting Lake June for special occasions. This rental was available for Thanksgiving and we decided to pack our bags and head to the peaceful lake. The Lazy Lake Cottage exceeded our expectations and had every amenity possible to cook thanksgiving dinner, enjoy family time with board games, shuffle board, puzzles. The cleanliness was by far the best we’ve ever had renting a home with very comfortable lounging and sleeping arrangements. When we weren’t inside we’re on the dock taking in all the beauty, lounging in the sun, swimming, fishing, we kept our boat there also which was very convenient. Everything is close by and we also enjoyed taking our golf cart to the local restaurants Dock 633 and Jaxson’s. We will definitely be back! To the next guest, we left some tasty ice cream treats in the freezer.

This place is incredible. Kelly is an excellent host, easily accessible for anything you may need. We have been coming to the lake for over 35 years and truly this experience was one of the best. The enclosed porch area was such a nice touch. Our family did not want to leave and are already looking at dates for our next stay. Thank you again Kelly for your hospitality. We will be back :)

Don't hesitate to book. You will not regret it. Kelly is a thoughtful host, it shows in the way she has provided comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and high-end decor (not so delicate that you feel like you can not touch anything) in her home. Also, she goes above and beyond in providing extras, for example, plenty of linen, new toothbrushes, and toiletries. Food storage bags- The kitchen is well stocked. I spent my mornings on the enclosed patio (with a very comfortable setting), listening to the waves from the lake and writing. She's friendly and accessible- we didn't need anything, however, she checked on us from time to time. We didn't get to enjoy the kayaks, but she has a few on the property. We also appreciated the fence enclosing the total property, which made it easy for our dog. The photos are reflective of her property. I would and will book her again.

I loved Kelly's place. Felt right at home. Had everything I needed, spacious, clean, nice views and very peaceful. One little thing; one neighbor was bother by the fact we were still talking and laughing around 11:30 on Saturday. A little rude but I get it. I will love to come back in summer time.

Kelly's lake house was exactly at pictured! Bright and clean, with a great view of the lake. The porch and dock were both lovely places to relax, with the porch having multiple fans to help fight the heat. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals while we were there. There was plenty of room in the driveway for our boat trailer, plus our truck and friends vehicle. We really had a great trip and would happily stay at Kelly's house again!

The place was absolutely gorgeous. It had every amenity you could think of, even down to new tooth brushes, razors, shampoo and conditioner, and lake towels. The kids loved the kayaks and rope swing! The beds were so comfortable and soft. The water level gave plenty of shallow area down the dock. Our favorite was the porch/ sunroom. It was the best area to enjoy your morning coffee. We have already recommended the place to some friends and family !

Our family had a great time at Kelly’s lake house. The aesthetic of the house was light, bright and trendy. The beds were super comfortable and the view was so pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed the rope swing and the shuffle board table. We’ll be back! Thank you :)

What a diamond in the rough.! We were anticipating a comfortable cottage on Lake June. We were overwhelmed with designer decor, top-notch amenities and tasteful appointments. Our friends who stayed down the road were pea green with envy as the Lazy Lakehouse was so comfortable and provided gracious Lake living accommodations. Don’t hesitate, make your reservation before the word gets out about this listing for Lake June! If ever we are in the area again, we’re booking the Lazy Lakehouse first hands down.

Such a great place! Our family had a wonderful time relaxing and recharging on the lake. Had fun fishing, swimming and just lounging around. Kelly was super helpful with all of our questions and made the whole experience enjoyable.
